Christmas Market
Explore 70 festive stalls brimming with handcrafted gifts, local delicacies, and seasonal treats that capture the heart of Christmas in Hebden Bridge.

Hebden Bridge Open Studios
Find one-of-a-kind gifts as the valley’s artists open their studios. Offering you a rare chance to explore original paintings, handcrafted textiles, unique ceramics, and more—all created with local passion and artistry.

Independent shops
Named one of "the UK’s prettiest towns for Christmas shopping" by The Times in 2023, Hebden Bridge's high street offers dozens of independent shops. Offering homewares, vintage clothing, incredible cheeses, local artists' produce, and antique shops - there's a unique gift waiting behind every door.

Winter ‘Wait & Create’ Workshop
Bring the family along for a free handmade book activity on Saturday, 30th November, from 12-4 pm in the Waiting Room at Hebden Bridge Railway Station with artist Jeffrey Andrews. Everyone can get creative, colouring, and collaging their own handmade book – perfect to keep or give as a Christmas gift!
Thanks to Northern Rail and Visit Calderdale for bringing a cosy, festive atmosphere to Hebden Bridge station.

Make Sommet - Art Fair
Sunday 1st December, 11am-4pm
Over at The Trades Club is Mek Summat's festive art fair. Expect indie artists, vegan food, and good times.

Parking is very limited in Hebden Bridge, so we encourage visitors to use public transport whenever possible.By Train: Trains stop at Hebden Bridge Station, just a five-minute walk from the heart of town, making it an easy and scenic arrival point.By Bus: Buses run frequently throughout the Calder Valley, connecting Hebden Bridge to nearby towns and making travel convenient and eco-friendly.By Bike: Hebden Bridge is well-connected by cycling routes, including the Pennine Cycleway. Secure cycle racks are available in the town centre, so you can explore on foot once you arrive.By Car:
Parking in Hebden Bridge town centre is very limited, please assume there will not be any available spaces (apart from Blue Badge parking). To make your visit easier, a park-and-ride bus service will be available from Mytholmroyd Station.
Calderdale Council have informed us that parking attendants will be working the weekend, so please do only park in designated bays.

Event Park & Ride

Over 150 car parking spaces are available at Mytholmroyd Train Station carpark. As part of the Christmas weekend event, a shuttle bus will take people to Hebden Bridge station, which is a five minute walk to the town centre.Location:
The car park is at Mytholmroyd station car park (Google Maps), dropping off at Hebden Station (Google Maps).
Running Times:
9am - 6pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Busses will run every 10-20 minutes.
How to get tickets:
No tickets are needed. There is a suggested donation of £1 per passenger, which local charities will collect as you board.
